Dear Friends,
I invite you to my space where I want to show the world thought my eyes.
First, I would like to show you the Stockholm City, where I moved few months ago and which charmed me from the very first moment.
I would like to show you the atmosphere of this multicultural place, its amazing history, beautiful architecture, extraordinary Art and, above all, fantastic people in their everyday life.
I hope that you will see the uniqueness of this place in my photos and descriptions.
View the Stockholm City through my eyes as a photographer.
Kind regards,
Kamila M.
Stockholm’s architecture is what captured me when I first came here. It’s love at first sight.
I will mention right away that I have always been a lover of historic coastal cities.
Such places have a unique, tight architecture, determined by their geographical location.
In the past, cities of this type were built on trade routes and played a very important strategic role.
I discover Stockholm with my sneakers on and a camera in my hand. Practically every day during running training I discover new places and fall into sincere admiration.
Suddenly, just around the corner there is a majestic 18th-century tenement house, which as if inadvertently grows on a red, rocky ground, then turning into a green, city park and peaceful sculptures that peek at passersby.

As if that was not enough, after a large dose of excitement, a magical marina with old fishing boats, replicas of Viking boats and small restaurants emerges at the end of the streets.
The air constantly smells of freshly fried fish, bread baked in the morning and roasted coffee. The challenge of visiting each of these gastronomically legendary places is still on my culinary map.
My heart was stolen not only by beautiful historical buildings, but above all by old fishing cutters and boats in numerous harbors connected with each other in a network. I can’t get enough of this sight. I run along the same routes practically every day.
Stockholm is combined by 14 islands connected with 53 bridges. It only takes a few steps to get from one to the next.
Stockholm is called the “Venice of the North” not without reason.
A huge network of canals, islands and bridges, tunnels above and below the water creates the atmosphere and space of this place.
It takes only a few steps to get from the royal island of Gamla Stan, via another bridge, to the districts of Norrmalm and Ostermalm, bustling with modern life. Here, in addition to countless bars, cafés and shops, we have a real mosaic of art, culture and architecture.
What amazes me is the residents’ great respect for historical buildings, which, properly revitalized, find their application regardless of time and epoch.
