AUTUMN
IN STOCKHOLM
SPECIAL EDITION GALLERY
Autumn is an awesome and suprising time of the year.
On the one hand, we are overwhelmed by sadness, because the warm summer is over, on the other hand, it can welcome us in its unique version.
For me, autumn in its most beautiful version is associated with a surfeit of a multitude of colors on trees, dark red rowan, leaves dancing in the wind, chestnuts and acorns bursting under shoes and warm rays of the sun fighting against the shorter days.
I also remember the smell of string-dried forest mushrooms, which my mother used to hang all over the house, and the taste and smell of military pea soup in the open air at the end of the season.
When I was a student it clearly associated me with going back to school and continuing my studies. October heralded a return to academic books and dim lighting of lamps in library reading rooms.
That is why autumn for me smells of freshly sharpened pencils and leather-bound books, fresh paper in new notebooks, but also constantly dirty fingers from ink.
But the most important autumn is the unique taste of baked apples with cloves, tea with honey and the smell of floating cinnamon at home and in cafes.
The harbinger of the next stage of fall are huge pumpkin lanterns appearing in shop windows and numerous funny decorations of Halloween pop culture.

For several years, autumn has been a time of numerous running starts for me. It was not different this time. Marathons in Warsaw and Stockholm. Amazing time. Autumn 2022.
